Lightroom 2.1 RC released
Adobe have released a Release Candidate of version 2.1 to Adobe Labs. This (as you might imagine) is not the final version, but a version to iron out any last minute issues.
There are many bug fixes and tweaks to some of the ways Lightroom displays images in certain circumstances.
Full release notes are available at the Labs site.
The compatible version of Adobe Camera Raw is 4.6, and for full interoperability it is recommended that you install this alongside Lightroom 2.1RC.
Feedback is requested at the Adobe User to User Forums rather that at Adobe Labs.

Question here…As I am running Vista, CS2, Lightroom 2 and shoot with Nikon D300/raw. Can I “really” download and use ACR 4.6 in Lightroom 2.1RC?
Not quite sure how to install it, if, in fact, I can do that. Can you tell me how? Or direct me to site?
Also, will this cause problems with CS2, and, yes, I know about converting to DNG with D300 RAW files?
Thank you,
gretchen

Lightroom 2.1RC already contains the ACR 4.6 code. So it is already up to date. ACR is a separate plugin and cannot be installed in Lightroom. It is for Bridge and Photoshop.
